"Groove" - An evening of dances celebrating Jazz Dance and its branches. "Groove" aims to give the audience a taste of the multi-faceted art of Jazz Dance. With a history that originates out of West African dance forms; Jazz Dance has continued to grow and evolve into many different styles including Vernacular Jazz, Musical Theatre Jazz, Concert Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Latin Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop forms. Choreographed by UNC Dance Faculty and invited Guest Artists and performed by student dancers. Come enjoy an evening of funky high-energy dances that will leave you "Groovin" in your seat!
